A Turkish third-division match between Bursaspor and Diyarbekirspor was marred by controversy as a brawl broke out towards the end of the clash between the two teams.
Diyarbekirspor scored a goal in each half to clinch the game but a fight erupted after Bunyamin Yurur celebrated provocatively following his winner in the 82nd minute. The players and the coaching staff of both teams exchanged blows on the pitch which resulted in the referee sending off as many as five players.

Recently, a Super Lig fixture between MKE Ankaragucu and Caykur Rizespor ended on a violent note after the Ankaragucu president Faruk Koca punched referee Halil Umut Meler at full-time. The match official sustained injuries that included bleeding around his left eye and a small fracture.

The Turkish FA had promised to take strict action against the Ankaragucu president following his act of violence on the pitch and now it remains to be seen what will be the parent's body's course of action following another on-field fight.
