Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich started for Poland in their 1-1 draw with Italy in the UEFA Nations League on Friday night.
Klich was selected in the middle of the park, and played 55 minutes for a Poland team that took the lead in the first half before Chelsea midfielder Jorginho levelled for Italy late on.
The 6ft ace has been outstanding for Leeds in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign, scoring three times in six Championship appearances.
The 28-year-old struggled at Leeds last term following a move from FC Twente, and ended the campaign on loan with FC Utretcht.

The Pole returned to Elland Road this summer, however, and has played a key role in Marcelo Bielsa’s team storming to the top of the Championship table.
Leeds fans reacted to Ezgjan Alioski’s strike for Macedonia on Thursday night, and have now taken to social media to hail Klich for his positive performance against Italy.
